On 7th August, the Urban Railway Line Cat Linh – Ha Dong had been connected to the National Electric grid. Currently, the trains have been undergone a test run at : depot, stations, inspection and repair workshop …to single divice check. After trial operation of test driver, complex test will be done on whole line on August.
The Urban Railway Station Cat Linh – Ha Dong line is over 13 kilometres long, which starts at Cat Linh Station , ends at Yen Nghia Station – Ha Dong. The whole above ground 12 station and the Depot have track gauge of 1.435mm.
The railway will operate with 13 trains, 4 carriages each which runs every 3-5 minutes trip, and expects to run every 2 minutes; at maximium speed of 80 km per hour, medium speed of 35km per hour.
This project had elegant design of pole beam, U beam and parabol beam items were initially constructed in Vietnam. The design solution were already direct to high aesthetics.
Each station has been designed and built with different colors, of which, La Khe Station (the first completed station) had designed with light green color. With curved roof, suitable with humid subtropical climate of Vietnam and South East stylish design.
