Inside the first private airport in Vietnam

TPO - Van Don International Airport (Quang Ninh) has asked the Ministry of Transport for permission to exploit from December 25. This is the first private airport in Vietnam, with a construction time of only 2 years.

Van Don International Airport (Quang Ninh) is Vietnam's first private airport, to be operational from the end of this year. Van Don International Airport has a total investment of about 7,700 billion dong invested by Sun Group. This is the 4E International Airport, which can receive large A350, B777, B787 and equivalent downward.

 Investors will focus on Northeast Asian markets (South Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan) and Southeast Asia (Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia). In the country, will market in the central and southern areas such as Hue, Da Nang, Cam Ranh, Da Lat, Phu Quoc.

 The airport is equipped with ILS landing systems originating from the United States, Norway, Sweden, helping the aircraft can land in all cases of bad weather (can be said in any case). This system is as modern as the largest airports in Vietnam today such as Noi Bai, Tan Son Nhat.

Currently, final construction and industrial cleaning work is underway, so that when licensed by the authorities will be operational by the end of this year.

Recently, the Aviation Department has reported to the Ministry of Transport confirmed Van Don international airport has qualified to open ports as prescribed.

The system of boarding procedures has been completed.

The airport will also have services, such as food, retail, business area.

The airport is equipped with modern equipment, meeting the rigorous standards of international airlines, such as the two-dimensional screening system of the airport from the Smiths Detector brand - Germany, meeting the standards. No US TSA (most of Vietnam airports are currently installing only one-way lenses). Together with the Ilane automatic tray return system, it was first installed in Vietnam.

 Not only domestic flights, Van Don airport is also capable of receiving international flights. The Aviation Department recently also suggested the Ministry of Transport report to the Prime Minister decided to open Van Don International Airport to put into operation.

 
Port capacity is 2.5 million passengers / year. The rush hour can accommodate 1,250 passengers. Van Don airport currently has 9 positions of aircraft in which 7 concurrent positions can be exploited. The station has 4 luggage lanes, serving the best and fastest for passengers.

 The security system has been fully installed and ready to be put into operation.

This is the 4E International Airport, which can receive large A350, B777, B787 and equivalent. It is expected that Vietnam's airlines plan to fly international, domestic and charter flights for international markets to / from Van Don, Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet.

Buses, forklifts, trailers ... served at the apron are fully equipped and ready to operate.

Air traffic controllers are also available.

Roofing of  airport is designed inspired by the image of brown winds, piled high in the sea, bearing the hallmark of the heritage of Ha Long Bay. Another interesting feature of the roofing is that the colors on the roof can change from orange to red in different weather conditions.
